Driving Thoughts

I drive in each day from League City, which is a nice time to enjoy being by myself and think. Today I was dreading making that drive because I saw how hard it was raining and didn't really want to drive in it. I knew I had to go to work, so I didn't really have a choice. I got my stuff and got in the car.

As I drove, the rain slowed and the sun started to peak out from behind the clouds. I saw the rays of light that came down through the clouds and I started thinking. All of us have a lot of clouds that come into our life. They hide the sunshine and sometimes make it tough to get on with our day. Those cloudy yucky days are days that I don't even want to get out of bed sometimes. We need some help getting through our cloudy days.

We have a God whose light can penetrate through any clouds. He can brighten us up on our worst days. When I saw the clouds and the light today, I couldn't help but see it as God reaching out to me. I was looking for a rainbow, but got another great reminder instead. I was reminded that God's light is so powerful and can change any situation.

Where do you need His light in your life?
